As the owner of Petal & Pine, I took a deodorant (Calm Your Pits) on a Caribbean Cruise and it worked perfectly. It’s a little softer there than the top of the USA in Michigan (brrrr) but I never had smelly pits or any issues! It stood the hot, humid weather test perfectly! I bought Sun Shield during the summer of 2025 and have used it without any burns. Even better my skin loves it and feels soft and hydrated after a day in the sun. The true test was using it near the equator for two weeks. I put it on every morning before breakfast and again if I was swimming. The only time I ended up with a light burn was the day that we strolled the beach without reapplication from 11am to 3pm. My friends especially love grabbing this out of my bag because they can use it on their faces without breaking out. I just bought more for myself and a little supply to share for our upcoming vacation.
